1st January 2007: A New Year...a New Country

Finland begins...

It has taken me a while to start this blog...have been so busy but finally my "blog is born"...hope you guys enjoy it!

Day 1:

I am left stranded at the airport. I was supposed to be fetched but know one arrives so I take a taxi to the cheapest and nearest hotel...jetlag starts to set in and I shower and go to bed...hoping someone will fetch me tomorrow in this foreign "winter wonderland"...
This is a picture of my hotel room in Hotelli Touristi...it cost me 55 euros but included a buffet breakfast...
